Rotodepositor type 2016
The HAAS-MEINCKE Rotodepositor type 2016 is an alternative to traditional wire-cutters. It is a piston depositor especially designed for the production of masses and dough containing a great number of large particles such as nuts, chocolate chips, raisins and other sorts of dried fruit. The machine is also well suited for dough that is so hard that ordinary depositing is impossible.

How do you benefit?

The HAAS-MEINCKE Rotodepositor has some distinct advantages

Rotary moulder_kager
  • High flexibility
  • Hygienic design
  • High quality
  • Quick change of die rollers
  • Quick change of web
  • Easy operation
  • Minimal servicing

The process - how it works
The biscuit dough is delivered to the rotary inlet hopper by gravity.
The grooved feed roller rotates towards the die roller so that the dough is forced into the gap between these two rollers. Hereby the dough is pressed into the cavities of the die roller. A knife situated in the gap scrapes off the excess dough. The rubber roller is pushed up against the web under the die roller. This ensures that the biscuit base sticks to the web and hereby extracts the biscuits from the die roller. By means of a sharp delivery nose the biscuits are released from the web and placed on the following conveyor for further process treatment.

Rotary moulderProcess adjustments
All settings are fully repeatable for maximum productivity of the machine.
All drives, rubber roller, feed roller and die roller are controlled by individual frequency inverters.
A variable distance between the feed roller and the die roller contributes to the adjustment of the dough pressure during moulding.
The pressure between the web and the extraction roller is adjusted pneumatically individually in each side of the machine.

Conveyors

We supply the rotary moulder with two types of conveyors:

  • One with a wire mesh belt and a short web where the take-off roller is placed in the gap between the web and the wire mesh. This solution is applied where a sprinkling unit or washing unit is needed.
  •  Alternatively the web is going all the way through the rotary moulder to the delivery nose. For sticky types of dough a take-off roller can be mounted on the delivery nose.

Construction - optimal weight accuracy, minimum waste of product and minimum downtime

The feed roller is designed as a grooved roller which ensures a uniform depositing pressure across the grooved roller and this secures an optimal weight accuracy. the material has carefully been selected to maximixe the ability of the machine to hold the dough and consequently minimise the waste of product.

For minimum downtime the die roller is made of no-lead tin bronze ceritfied for foodstuff production. You can change it without removing or tilting the hopper and without using any tools.
